Honestly, I haven’t heard anything about the game before tonight, but they made one hell of a commercial for the game, and it was almost all gameplay footage.  All I know for sure is they have one hell of a budget and there’s a boss that looks like a Troll from the Fellowship of the Ring.  Anybody have any real info?

I’m pretty interested, but it comes out the same day as Dark Souls. Thus, it gets put on the backburner.

I find that I actually use the back burners more than the front burners, mostly in case I need to add something to the stove at the last moment and don’t want to reach over fire.

Definately Half Life 2. You could argue Call of Duty as well.

Since it comes out the same time as Dark Souls it will have to wait. But i definitely want it!

Going back for Prime makes the windows what, like 8 years?  Pushing it.

If the Battlefield 3 beta comes out this week, I’m fucked for playing anything else.

Metroid was a FPA not a FPS.

If this game was coming out at any other time, I’d be on it.  But there’s too much radness being released at the same time.  If the reviews are good I’ll probably pick it up a little later down the line after I knock out Dark Souls, Skyrim, Batman Arkham City.  So otherwise it’s going to be a long time.

Japanese version of Dark Souls is out today, I wish I could afford to pick it up and try it out.

I believe game rentals are illegal in Japan.

Rent where? Around here, rental places have been closing left and right. I’d think it would be the same in a lot of other places with more people.

Blockbuster just announced they are closing all stores in Canada last month.

Rental in the UK isn’t big and never really has been. Being able to retthe game you want when you want is less than likely, especially if you’re going for new releases.
The current biggest rental service “Love Film” operate on a wish list, so you just throw a load of games you want to play up there, and they send you whatever they can when you post one back.
This tends to mean that the lesser and older titles are the most likely to arrive.
I know people who use this service to whore achievements from terrible and old games, but to play new releases and AAA titles? Pah
