It's not supposed to be out here in Europe until Friday, so I was pleasantly surprised to find the Limited Collector's Edition of Final Fantasy XIII-2 on the doormat today.
I guess I'll treat the internet to one of them unboxing things. Character art and shiny discs await.

Well I got everything that you got… plus GAME’s steelbook. Anyway, I’ve been too busy playing it. But now I have work

Nice. I The edition i have came with an art book and the four CD’s to the sound track. Not bad, but not as nice as yours.

Surely 4CDs is better than one

Yeah, i’m glad i have the soundtrack. There are some pretty cool cuts in the game. There were only two real gripes I had…no jewel case for the game disc and the fact that the art book is sewn in to the box set. On the positive side at least NA has a collectors edition this time.

Oh. My. God. The heavy metal chocobo theme is the best thing I’ve ever heard. “So cute, yet fierce, is he from hell?”

Actually the whole soundtrack so far has been really nice. I kind of stopped adoring the music of FF after X but I’ve noticed a lot of pieces in this one that I really like, especially the vocal pieces for areas.

the soundtrack is awful. they randomly put in FF13 music during cut scenes which is a strange design choice.

Even I think most of the vocal tracks are pretty crap

Well I may have to revise my opinion. The New Bhodum track is nice. ANYWAY, I finished it. The straight-to-the-end ending that is. Are you SHITTING me Square? Ah well. Sidequest ahoy time. There’s a fair few monsters I ran into, had my arse handed to me, and retreated thinking “Oh I’ll be back…” Now I will.
