Epic Games has announced their next game, Fortnite. The game features a cartoonish style similar to Team Fortress 2 and revolves around building structures to defend from attacking zombie like monsters.
"I see lots of questions asking if Fortnite is freeform construction. It is. It's not scripted or just boarding up existing structures," Said lead designer Lee Perry via twitter.
So is the game like Minecraft? "Minecraft was an inspiration for sure." Says Perry.
