Apparently the other day a Best Buy employee leaked the box art for the new Assassin's Creed 3 game on the internets, pushing Ubisoft to release an official photo.
As of now, this is all the news we've got.
On a personal note, I've never played an Assassin's Creed game, but I've always been very interested in games that use real world history. I enjoyed the Metal of Honor and Call of Duty games when they were World War 2 shooters, and I was into the Age of Empires RTS games for my PC. The fight for American independence seems like a killer setting for any game, and from all the love the Assassin's Creed franchise gets from the media, fans and many of my friends, this has awesome written all over it. Looks like I've got some Assassin's Creed catching up to do before this one comes out.
Since there are no details about this game released as of now, what do you think this game is going to be like? What are some cool things you'd like to see them do with the story, environment and/or game play that would be unique to the world of Assassin's Creed and the fight for American independence?
