Hardcore military sim gamers rejoice! Bohemia Interactive have announced that an Alpha version of ARMA III will go live on March 5th and will be available to anyone who pays for the full game up front. Your purchase of either the standard or Digital Deluxe version of the game on Steam will also net you access to a later beta, as well as the full game when it is released.

The 20 km² island of Stratis, which is positioned right off the coast from Arma 3’s main destination ‘Altis’ (270 km²), will form the backdrop of the Arma 3 Alpha."
